Formicary Corrosion Policy

HVAC systems include equipment with copper components. In some instances, when exposed to volatile organic substances, equipment components comprised of copper, such as coils, and any other copper components may fail because of formicary corrosion. If this occurs, complete replacement of failed component may be necessary. D.M.R. Associates, Inc. (DMR) does not warrant, guarantee any equipment and or components because of failure caused by formicary corrosion.

DMR excludes all liability or responsibility, including costs of investigation, repair and or replacement of any equipment and or components, loss of use or loss of revenue because of failures caused by formicary corrosion regardless of the cause or causes of the formicary corrosion. This exclusion supersedes all other terms, conditions, warranty or guarantee that may exist between DMR and any other person or entity.
